The speaker is muted so no one can hear the dialing

Security answers call: They can hear you,
but you cannot hear them.

The intruder is NOT aware someone is listening.

The Indicator light on phone would be green to
assure the instructor that the line is open.

Campus Police can determine the best approach to assist.
Call is disconnected when Security hangs up

The second button is used for two way communication to Security.
